Wellbeing Resources

At the DVM Divas, we talk a lot about mental health and wellbeing. All of us need to make ourselves a priority. This does not stop with just one person, as a profession, we need to work together to make sure we don’t lose another veterinarian.

We need to start working on our own self-care, helping others, and learn how to manage our stress.

The National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America: Supports the veterinary staff. They also suffer the effects of compassion fatigue and burn-out.

The AVMA is also offering suicide prevention training. Take a look and see how you may be able to save someone.
